One little known fact about me	I sang at Carnegie Hall twice (2000 and 2003) with a chorus directed by Jackson and Almeda Berkey (of Manneheim Steamroller).
Why did you want to be involved with the Foundation?	Moving into a new district, I wanted to meet other parents interested in supporting the district. My career and volunteer activities have centered in education, and I wanted to get involved as quickly as possible. I have been very impressed with the level of involvement in the district – and research continues to indicate that involved parents and community strengthens the district and affects student learning in a positive way!
What would you like to see happen at Prairie in the next 5-10 years?	I would like to see Prairie continue to grow and be a “show case” for school districts in the state of IA.
