Why did you want to be involved with the Foundation?	I want the Foundation to succeed because it has an important mission: supporting the children and staff of this district. I think we need lots of avenues to keep parents involved and engaged in their children’s education. The efforts on behalf of the Foundation by each trustee set a good example for all the children and provide materials and opportunities that would otherwise be absent.
What would you like to see happen at Prairie in the next 5-10 years?	I would like to see the District move ahead on many fronts: student achievement is good but needs to get even better, the achievement gap needs to be completely eliminated, all children should feel safe at school every day, Prairie High School graduates should be even better prepared for higher education or a career. There is plenty of work to do and lots of opportunities for the Foundation to make an impact!
